move over pepperjax. get out of the way subway. I just found a new favorite place to get philly cheese steaks in lawrence. the place just opened up recently and the only reason I noticed it was because it was on the way to jimmy john's yesterday. it's called jersey mike's subs or something like that. the cheese just oozes out of the cheese steak and the peppers and onions are delish. so the next time you're in lawrence and feel like having something good, give them a try.
